What to expect?
When you choose to book an initial consultation, we will send you a form with a few questions to help us get to know your baby/toddler and your main aims for the session. This is the time to share any relevant medical information or letters from other professionals.

The initial consultation always takes place at your home. The therapist will start with asking a few more questions to guide their assessment. Our session will be structured around your child and their routine. We can learn a lot about their development by observing their movement and behaviour in many situations, so don't worry if they are upset, need feeding or happen to fall asleep.
When appropriate, the therapist will ask to hold or move your child and will engage them in interaction and play to see how they respond to different positions. We will then discuss what skills to focus on and suggest activities you can do during your daily care and play together.
After the session, we will provide a summary of our advice, so you don't have to remember everything on the day.
